The Government of Wales Act 1998 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1999

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 158 of the Government of Wales Act 1998[1], hereby makes the following Order:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Government of Wales Act 1998 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1999.
2.
The date of 1st April 1999 is appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Government of Wales Act 1998-
Section 107 (Human rights).
Sections 116 to 118 (Welsh public records).
Schedule 7 paragraphs 1(1) and (2), 8 and (in so far as it relates to an examination under section 6 of the National Audit Act 1983[2] (economy etc. examinations)) 9(2) and section 105(5) so far as relating thereto. (Forestry Commissioners - separate exercise of functions in relation to Wales).
Schedule 10 paragraphs 1, 3(1) and (2), 4, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15(1)(2) and (4), and section 112 so far as relating thereto. (Amendments of Health Service Commissioners Act 1993).
Schedule 12 paragraphs 2 to 4, 7, 10 to 14, 15(1) and (2), 16, 20 to 30, 33 to 36 and section 125 so far as relating thereto. (Minor and consequential amendments).
Schedule 18 Part I in respect of the repeals in the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (but only the repeals in sections 2(2)(b) and 18(3)) and the Health Authorities Act 1995, and section 152 so far as relating thereto.
