The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[2] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having completed the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of that latter Act[3] and considering it appropriate that the functions of the trust should include functions in relation to the provision of services for one or more Health Authorities[4], hereby makes the following Order: - Citation, commencement and interpretation 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the North Warwickshire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st April 1998. (2) In this Order -
Amendment to functions of NHS trust
(ii) Admirals Court (Learning Difficulties Unit), 37 Nelson Way, Rugby, Warwickshire CV22 7LW, (iii) Mental Health Resource Centre, 34 Clifton Road, Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 3QF, (iv) 42 & 44 Rosewood Avenue, Rugby, Warwickshire CV22 5PL,
and associated hospitals, and there to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services; and
(ii) Orchard Centre (Health Clinic), Lower Hillmorton Road, Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 3SR, (iii) 13, 15, 17 & 19 Harris Drive, Rugby, Warwickshire CV22 6DX, (iv) Hillmorton Clinic, 94 & 94a Coton Road, Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 4LX,
and associated premises, and there to provide and manage community health services.".
(This note is not part of the Order) This Order amends the Order ("the Establishment Order") which established the North Warwickshire National Health Service Trust. The Establishment Order is amended to add to the list of premises owned and managed by the trust. This Order should be read in conjunction with the Walsgrave Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998[6] and the Rugby National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1998[7].
